Abstract
This thesis is aimed at engineers and scientists in the field of automatic control, especially in combustion control. A method of Robust Model Predictive Control (RMPR) for regulator problems is presented, which uses contracting robust invariant sets and as a result leads to very short computation times at runtime. Using this method it is possible to robustly stabilize highly dynamic combustion processes and therefore making them applicable as a technology. In this work this is demonstrated experimentally at a Rijke tube.
