What's (the) Matter? The Particle Physics Show Bonn: Elementary Particle Physics Are Fun

Friday, September 27, 2019, 3:30pm

Saturday, September 28, 2019, 11am

What is the origin of mass? In a 90-minute show featuring 25 live experiments, we will take you on a journey through elementary particle physics.

The protagonists start in 1910 with Professor Rutherford in Manchester, UK and finally land in 2012 at CERN, Geneva, CH, where they discover a live Higgs boson! Professor Herbert Dreiner from Bonn developed the show's concept, and it is performed by physics students of the University of Bonn.
