Automatic Control
Automatic Control is a compulsory course for the Bachelor course in Mechanical Engineering. It teaches how to solve typical tasks in signal processing and control as well as to handle tasks in the description and analysis of dynamic systems methodically. An emphasis of the course is put on the usability of the methods in practical applications.

Information on RWTHmoodle Course Rooms
Registration for the RWTHmoodle course rooms is usually performed by the students themselves, starting from the lecture site in the RWTHonline system. If you have trouble registering or you need a late registration, please contact your respective advisor.

Wednesday, October 13, 2021
The lecture and exercises of Control Engineering starts at October 11, 2021. Start of Flipped Classroom at October 15, 2021.
Please note: The lecture reprint is distributed by Verlag Mainz and is available directly from Verlag Mainz in Aachen and in Aachen bookstores. Since a comprehensive revision of the reprint is being worked on for the winter semester 2023/24, the new version of the reprint cannot be purchased early, but only with the beginning of the semester on October 9.
Consultation Hours and Additional Support
The Institute of Automatic Control offers additional supporting courses. These are offered in winter and summer semester.
These are:
No consultation hours
There will be no consultation hours offered between the written examination and the end of the oral examinations. Any exceptions will be announced on the website.
