HumanLib library for Modelica/Dymola

HumanLib is a library written in the language Modelica for the design and simulation environment Dymola. It is a library of components of the human cardiovascular system and connected physiological control loops. Models include heart, vascular compartments, respiratory mechanics, baroreceptor reflex, chemoreflex and lung strech reflex. All components can be connected easily to default parameters which are aggregated in an instance of a record class element. Default parameters are chosen for a standard human (male, 70 kg) at rest in supine position.

License information

The HumanLib package with all of its subpackages is released under the Modelica License 2.

System requirements

  • Dymola 7.1
  • Modelica 3.0
  • other (newer) versions of Modelica/Dymola have not been tested, but might work with some adaptions

Note

pckModel contains preassembled models for simulation of various settings. Simulation settings are saved in these models, and these or similar settings are recommended for use in other models.

Bugs and questions

Due to organizational reasons, at the moment, no support can be given and no new models will be added. However, we hope to change this in the future. To help us then, we would appreciate your reports of major bugs, problems and comments to software@irt.rwth-aachen.de
