Petri net tool Netlab (Windows)

Netlab is developed to design and implement Place-Transition Petri nets (P/T nets). The theoretical background used for the implementation of the software Netlab, the analysis algorithms and examples can be found in D. Abel, Petri-Netze für Ingenieure, Springer, Berlin, 1990.

 

Netlab provides the following functionalities:

  • Graphical editor for P/T-Petri nets
  • Analysis of different graphs and invariants
  • Summary of analysis functionality
  • Stepwise simulation of Petri nets
  • Integration in Matlab/Simulink for simulation of hybrid systems

The editor is the interface between user and the petri net structure. With the help of this interface, Petri nets can be designed graphically in order to model diskrete (hybrid[Simulink]) systems. The graphical illustration as well as the data format is compliant to PNML. Different nets can be designed and analysed independently due to parallel data structures. Language can be changed between German, English and Spanish.
